Edge of your seat thrills, delicious food from local LA vendors, and a special post-screening Q & A with the director and star of the film, Ivan herrera and Clarisse Albrecht, will accompany the film on ARRAY’s Creative Campus in Historic Filipinotown.
ABOUT THE FILM
In Ivan Herrera's BANTÚ MAMA, a French woman of African descent (Clarisse Albrecht) manages to escape after being arrested in the Dominican Republic. She finds shelter in the most dangerous district of Santo Domingo, where she is taken in by a group of children. By becoming their protégée and maternal figure, she experiences an unimaginable change in her destiny.
